Two Washington state teachers honored by Microsoft

Two teachers from Washington state were among 21 educators worldwide recognized for their innovative uses of technology in the classroom at Microsoft’s annual Partners in Learning Global Forum.

Robin Lowell and Sherry Hahn, from the Vancouver-based Washington State School for the Blind, were recognized for their project which uses Microsoft Lync to provide math instruction to blind and visually impaired students.
