Annual Microsoft employee meeting set for Sept. 26

Microsoft is holding its annual employee meeting on Sept. 26 at KeyArena.

The meeting, which is closed to press, will run from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The company is providing buses to shuttle the approximately 20,000 employees expected to attend in person. The meeting will also be webcast for those employees not attending in person.

A Microsoft spokesman declined to say what’s on the agenda but there’s plenty of fodder this year from the company-wide reorganization, to Steve Ballmer’s upcoming retirement, to the search for a new CEO, to the purchase of Nokia‚Äôs entire handset operation.
