Microsoft has made it official, announcing today that Satya Nadella will be the company’s new CEO, effective immediately. Nadella will also join Microsoft’s board.
Bill Gates will step down as chairman of the board to assume the title of founder and technology adviser, which Microsoft said will allow him to devote more time to the company supporting Nadella in shaping technology and product direction. Gates remains a board member.More
