How does a company as powerful as Apple still compel the kind of adoration usually reserved for the little guys?
Conventional wisdom — or maybe the fact that I live in Microsoft’s back yard — tells me that big companies should lose their cult appeal as their fans realize that they’re no longer innovative underdogs, but masters. When there’s no one left to fight, there’s little left to root for.
Will Apple ever become too big to love, or has it already passed that test?
I guess we’ll see…
