Report — Legal issues won’t impede potential move of Kings to Seattle
A report from NBA.com today said the league “does not expect legal challenges, whether from minority owners of the Kings or groups in Seattle, to be a serious impediment to a potential move.”
Here is the story, which credits the news as coming from “league sources.”
The report also says that the sale of the Kings to a Seattle group led by Chris Hansen will almost certainly not be voted on prior to the league’s annual Board of Governors meeting in New York April 18-29.
Such reports may be more plentiful the next few days as just about everybody who is anybody in the NBA gathers in Houston for the All-Star Game this weekend.
