As noted a few days ago, the Sacramento City Council will address several issues related to getting a new arena built in that city at its meeting on Tuesday.
Today the city made available on-line the agenda item with some details, though there aren’t a lot of real big specifics. No names of investors revealed or monetary numbers on the arena or anything like that.
Of note, the report states that the project has to have significant public financing since it “would not be economically viable given the limitations of the Sacramento market.”
In the action item, the city is asked to approve $150,000 to a group to advise city in its negotiations.
Here’s a report from the Sacramento Bee.
