Sacramento Bee report: Maloofs would accept matching Sacramento offer

The Sacramento Bee reports this morning that sources have told the paper that the Maloof family, which owns the Sacramento Kings, will accept a local bid that matches that of the Chris Hansen-led Seattle group.

The Bee also reports that if the offer matches that of the Seattle group than the Maloofs “will embrace” an outcome that keeps the team in Sacramento.

The story further states a Maloof source as saying that they are giving Sacramento “every opportunity to keep the team but they keep blowing every deadline. We haven’t seen anything in writing.”
