NBA.com breaks down Seattle/Sacramento saga

Interesting info this morning from David Aldridge of NBA.com in his regular Monday “Morning Tip” column on the Seattle/
Sacramento¬† battle over the Kings — it’s in the second item.

Aldridge states that a couple of items could be key:

— Which city can show it will get its arena built more quickly;

— Whether Sacramento will actually match the $30 million non-refundable deposit made by the Chris Hansen group to the Maloofs;

— And how much importance the owners put into the fact that Sacramento is likely to remain a franchise that would receive money from the NBA’s enhanced revenue sharing program while Seattle would likely be a franchise that would pay into it — meaning more money for the other owners.

And as the story notes, as of yet there is still no definitive word on Sacramento’s new offer.
