Musical ticket counters at Sea-Tac
It’s musical airline counters at Sea-Tac Airport this week. Three airlines will move their check-in areas in the main terminal – American, Frontier and JetBlue. It’s part of a complex shuffle at the airport, of ticket counters and gates, that ultimately will let Alaska Airlines be the sole user of the airport’s North Satellite.
The three airlines will move about 1,000 feet north. American moves on Tuesday, Frontier on Wednesday and JetBlue on Friday. Don’t get lost; watch for the signs.
The next big ticket counter move is United in May. That’s also when more than a half-dozen airlines will switch gates at Sea-Tac so ticket counters and baggage-transfer systems to gates can align properly.
