Monday survey: What’s your favorite Hawaiian island?
If you saw Kristin Jackson’s story Sunday about visiting Kalaupapa, you may have been prompted to recall your own mule ride on Molokai.

Or maybe there was a memory of a giant humpback whale breaching “like a whole Metro bus crashing up out of the water,” as I heard it described by a colleague just back from Maui. Or did you stop to remember a sunrise you saw after hiking the steep trail to the top of Oahu’s Diamond Head?
Hawaii is maybe the favorite vacation spot for webfooted Puget Sounders. So tell us your favorite Hawaiian island. Click on the “comments” link and tell where and why. (Details. We want details.)
After we get some good comments, we’ll put it to a vote later in the week.
