Compensating for the cruise from hell: What would you want?

After days of sewage and discomfort, the 4,200 passengers and crew of the Carnival Triumph are finally nearing home after the cruise ship, disabled off Mexico by an engine fire, was towed to Alabama.
In compensation for their cruise from hell, Carnival has offered each passenger a full refund for the cruise; a future cruise credit equal to what they paid for their Carnival Triumph voyage; and a $500 credit.
I bet some passengers are so mad that they’re not going to take it – and lawsuits will be flying. What would you do about Carnival’s compensation offer if you were one of the passengers aboard the Triumph?
