A top 10 list of Northwest outdoors places and adventures: What’s yours?

Bellingham’s Mike McQuaide, who has written about outdoors experiences for The Seattle Times for a dozen years, is moving to Europe. McQuaide’s parting story for Times readers is a roundup of his top 10 outdoors places and adventures around the Northwest and British Columbia.
McQuaide’s favorite things range from hiking the Enchantments in the Alpine Lakes Wilderness to family-camping on Orcas Island.
