Delta Air Lines is adding more flights out of Seattle to West Coast cities next year. The new flights will benefit both domestic travelers and passengers connecting to Delta’s increasing number of flights to Asia and Europe from Seattle (the city has become one of Delta’s fastest-growing international gateways).
Here’s the rundown from Delta on the new 2014 West Coast flights. :
- Six new daily nonstop flights from San Francisco beginning March 29, increasing to seven daily flights on June 5.
- Two additional flights from Las Vegas for a total of three daily nonstop flights beginning Jan. 6, increasing to five daily nonstop flights on April 1.
- Two additional flights from Los Angeles for a total of seven daily nonstop flights beginning June 5.
Internationally, Delta has non-stops from Seattle to Amsterdam, Beijing, Osaka, Paris, Shanghai and Tokyo. The carrier plans to start non-stops from Seattle next year to London (Heathrow), Hong Kong and Seoul.
And you’ll be entertained: All the international flights will have seat-back video screens at all seats starting next year. Plus lie-flat seat/beds for those who can splurge.
