It’s not what you want to happen when you open the plane’s door at an airport  — the emergency- evacuation slide springing open to wave vertically in the breeze.

The emergency slide accidentally deployed on an Alaska Airlines plane that arrived at Wrangell airport in Southeast Alaska on the weekend, according to a report from KSTK radio in Wrangell.

This photo, posted on social media sites including Flyer Talk (without details), shows the unfortunate event. Fortunately, no one was injured and the plane got a new slide after the Saturday mishap and is back in service.
