Today’s the last day to submit your photos of Washington’s national parks for our Seattle Times photo contest.
There’s been a flood of photos – more than 350 and still counting. The majority are of Mount Rainier National Park which looms large in Washingtonians’ psyches and lives. But there also have been some lovely photos submitted of Olympic National Park, such as this photo by Steve Fu of Sammamish of a sunset at the park’s coast, and of North Cascades National Park.
You’ve got until 11.59 p.m. today (July 31) to submit your photos. See the contest rules, other readers’ photos and submit yours here.
We’ll run the winning photo (which gets a $250 REI gift card) and runners-up in print on Aug. 17. Until then, enjoy our series of stories on Washington’s “Big 3” national parks — the already-published stories on Mount Rainier National Park and Olympic National Park — and articles on North Cascades coming on Aug. 10 in The Seattle Times’ NWTraveler section.
