‘Passport Day’ coming up in Seattle for in-person applications

Need to get a passport?

The Seattle Passport Agency is holding a “Passport Day” on Sept. 20, which lets people apply in person for passports rather than doing it online and by mail.

You can submit a routine or expedited (faster processing for an extra fee) passport application from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the downtown Seattle office at 300 Fifth Ave, Suite 600. No appointment is required for Passport Day, but applicants must have government-issued photo ID to enter the building.

For required documents, fees and and processing times (after your in-person application), go the federal government’s  passport website.
