Webcams say it all: Pray for snow, skiers and boarders
Hoping for a Thanksgiving Day outing to your favorite ski hill in the Washington Cascades? Um, you might want to have a Plan B. With a week to go, here are webcam photos from around the region:
Brown slopes at Alpental, Snoqualmie Pass, 1:30 p.m. Wednesday.
A bit of whiteness at White Pass, 1 p.m. Wednesday. Just don’t ski to the bottom.
The good news: Mission Ridge ski area, near Wenatchee, is opening this Saturday and Sunday thanks to snow-making machines, with one chair running.
