Lug that bag with a jiggity-jig: 3 more years of music at airport

The Port of Seattle announced Tuesday that it will extend for three years its nine-month-old pilot program that brings Northwest artists to perform live music around the airport.

The summertime lines may be long at Sea-Tac Airport, but maybe some good live music will help ease the pain.

After a successful pilot program that began in March, Sea-Tac  will keep having local musicians perform in the terminal for the rest of this year, both before and after the TSA security checkpoints.

There are two live music performances daily between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. Musicians have performed in the concourses, at the food court, in the arrivals hall and others parts of the airport. Get the schedule
