Iniatiative 985: Tim Eyman is losing his touch

Initiative guru Tim Eyman obviously has nothing better to do than constantly pester voters in this state with his latest irrational, ad-populum campaign that will only hamstring basic public interest [“Eyman warns DOT,” page one, Sept. 24].

If Eyman wrote something to better our state’s environmental laws, I might actually vote for it. Instead, he and his flock will be wasting hundreds of gallons of gas in his so-called “Freedom Drive.” Eyman’s planned protest is nothing more than a ridiculous excuse for conspicuous consumption and an obvious sign that Eyman’s initiatives don’t quite pack the punch that they used to.
