Jet photo-op in New York

Suggestion for next time: Photoshop

So let me get this straight. This president is so high-tech that he just can’t get by without his beloved Blackberry?

Forget about the fact that flying a 747 over New York City and not telling anyone they were going to do it is just plane stupid [“Circling jet startles New York,” News, April 28] — it cost around $350,000 just for some publicity pictures.

If the Bush administration had done this, the liberal media would have scoffed and collectively said something like, “Well, what do you expect?” It seems the Obama folks are so ignorant of current technology that they didn’t know they could have purchased a $79 copy of Photoshop to do the same thing without panicking many thousands of people.

I was prepared for four years of chuckles coming from Joe Biden’s comments, but this one really caught me off guard.
