Avoidance of sequestration lacks urgency
Governmental figures should be included in cuts
Should sequestration be ratified and put into place, I would assume our U.S. senators, representatives, the president and his Cabinet members can expect to have their pay, pensions and other benefits cut in the same percentage(s) applied to other proposed cutbacks [“Not much urgency to avoid automatic spending cuts,” seattletimes.com, Feb. 19].
