RINOs should rebel
‘RINO’ offers appropriate distinction
I enjoyed Kathleen Parker’s recent op-ed ["It's time for a RINO rebellion," Opinion, Feb. 21]. At last, I now have a movement! I am a RINO (Republican In Name Only)! (I wonder if it’s too late to get that on a Washington state vanity plate for my pickup truck?)
I have had a long-running battle with the Republican National Committee and I think I am on their blacklist. I used to get those dopey surveys with those “Have You Stopped Beating Your Wife Yet?” questions (such as “Do you believe we should give up our right to defend ourselves and have our wives raped and our children murdered, or do you prefer telling Obama to stick it where the sun don’t shine?”), but since writing them several rather tersely worded letters, the surveys no longer come in.
My Facebook page has as my political affiliation “Disenfranchised Republican: Fiscally conservative, but FOR anything that pisses off Rush Limbaugh.” I am going to change it to RINO. Thank you for giving me a cause to work for.
I am a RINO.
I like it.
