Investigation of the Benghazi attack

‘Political circus’ started with Obama administration
I read Trudy Rubin’s guest column with dismay [“The real scandal of Benghazi,” Opinion, May 18]. She claims that Republican Rep. Darrel Issa’s tenacity in pursuing and uncovering Benghazi facts is “ … dishonoring the memory of Ambassodor Chris Stevens and three other Americans by making a political circus out of their deaths.”
Never is there even a mention of the Obama administration throwing Susan Rice under the bus with her false “spontaneous angry mob/YouTube video” story, a blatant and now obvious attempt at cover up.
Rubin’s attempt to misdirect blame from President Obama and Hillary Clinton, in their multiple failures and lies, toward Issa, does none of us any good.
Issa’s fact-finding process may be a “political circus,” as she states, but that circus began with the Obama administration’s cover up, totally for the political purposes of President Obama and Hillary Clinton. And Issa’s “circus” seems to be the only momentum remaining in Washington, D.C., that may uncover the truths we need.
