Privacy vs. securityThank you for publishing the articles and your editorial on NSA spying [“Investigators target how leaker got top-secret data,” page one, June 11].

It seems that we are all subject to a possible violation of our Fourth Amendment rights and misuse of the data collected. The spokespeople for the NSA and the U.S. government have not denied the reports or these secret programs; they have only sought to discredit Edward Snowden and stoke the fear that if they can’t spy on us all, we are vulnerable to terrorist attacks.

I think this is a misuse of power and the tradeoff for “security” is too high.
