In response to The Times’s view of Russian President Vladimir Putin being shameful: Where is the hard evidence linking Putin, much less Russia, to the downing of the Malaysian Airlines flight?
If anything is shameful, it is the rush to judgment by our politicians and mainstream media that is speculative at best, and incitable at worst. How does it follow that within days there is definitive proof of motive and action by Russia?
Before any finger pointing, a multilateral independent investigation should be allowed. This is a dangerous escalation in Ukraine, and in times like these the media needs fact-based, unbiased professionalism to prevent the onset of another Cold War.
