‘The Interview’: A pinch from China

Much has been said about the wisdom of releasing “The Interview” [“South Korean to drop Sony film in North by balloon,” Nation & World, Dec. 30].

What hasn’t been mentioned is a possible side effect of the denial of service attack on North Korean Internet. North Korea’s Internet connection is through mainland China. If the U.S. were involved, it is quite possibly with Chinese acquiescence. North Korea must see that China is directly or indirectly giving it a small arterial pinch to remind it to be a responsible client state.
