Fighting climate change: A common-sense idea
Finally, a common-sense approach to climate change that everyone can understand, and should support [“A bipartisan approach to climate action,” Opinion, Jan 8].
Correcting climate change will not happen in our capitalistic society unless it can be made profitable — this is a start in that direction. Just as with all of our infrastructure systems (roads, telephone, Internet), that we all enjoy and take for granted, government in concert with the private sector is the only way to get it moving.
It’s time to pull our heads out of the sand and get going on this.
