Ferguson protests: Vandalism is ruining the message

With the 20th anniversary of Kurt Cobain’s death approaching, I would like to say a few words about what Kurt Cobain meant to me [“Remembering Kurt Cobain and Nirvana: the band that defined Seattle,” Local News, March 29].

Education for students in the country illegally: Provide aid for U.S. citizens

While I applaud the politicians of Washington state for considering legislation that would grant financial aid to students in the U.S. illegally, it just seems like another instance where U.S. citizens get the short end of the stick [“Help all students go to college with Real Hope Act,” Opinion, Feb. 6].
