Drones: Get out of the way of aerial innovation

Misguided legislators who would write onerous legislation restricting the use of drones in Washington should take care that they do not slam the door on a million-dollar industry that could create thousands of jobs [“Lawmakers may restrict drone aircraft for privacy’s sake,” Local News, Feb. 24].

Unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) are here to stay and troglodytes may as well attempt to outlaw all flying machines and horseless carriages.
