The elements that dogged the Washington and Washington State football games last Saturday in Seattle won’t be part of the equation for the Huskies and Cougars today.
I’m in Berkeley, and it’s supposed to be 81 degrees this afternoon in Strawberry Canyon. Gorgeous day — if anything, a little warmer than you’d like for an October football game. But after the storms that struck Seattle last week, I doubt if anybody will be complaining.
It should be picture-perfect for a night game at Stanford, which is what awaits the Huskies, in the first real getting-down-to-cases conference game in the Pac-12 this year.
