Larry Scott, Pac-12 commissioner, has been given a contract extension through the 2017-18 school year, the league announced Monday morning. Here’s the release.
Update, 3:20 p.m.: Here are a couple of more details. Scott’s current contract was through the 2015-16 school year, so this is a two-year extension. And the new title, executive chairman of Pac-12 Enterprises, means, according to his aide Erik Hardenbergh, that he oversees both entities — the Pac-12 and its wholly owned subsidiary, Pac-12 Enterprises.
