Cougars’ Lacy out another 3-5 weeks

Ken Bone, Washington State basketball coach, said Tuesday morning on the Pac-12 conference call that leading scorer DaVonte Lacy had additional tests done on his rib cartilage Monday and Lacy will be out “four to six weeks” from the time of the injury.

Since Lacy, then recovering from an appendectomy, was hurt at Arizona State Jan. 5, he would project to be out another three to five weeks, including this week’s road trip to Stanford and Cal. The timetable wouldn’t return Lacy to the Cougars until sometime early in February.
