Off here, but the O’Bannon antitrust trial is on . . .

The blog is about to go dark for a few days; it’s time for some R & R (reseeding and raking). I’m out for the next week, with the annual yard projects beckoning.

Meanwhile, Monday, keep an eye on the O’Bannon/NCAA antitrust trial, which is due to start in Oakland. This could be a game-changer for the beleaguered NCAA, which has taken a lot of hits in recent years. SportsIllustrated.com’s legal analyst Michael McCann has a good synopsis of the issues.
