Looking for presidential debate watching parties

The Seattle Times politics team is looking for presidential debate-watching parties, held by fans of both political  parties, or better still, a mix of political persuasions or a mix of independent or undecided voters.

There will be a double-header of debates Tuesday, Oct. 16, starting at 6 p.m. with the second presidential debate between Barack Obama and Mitt Romney. That debate ends at 7:30 p.m. Where are you watching?  Please send an email to jbalter@seattletimes and tell us if you know of formal or informal gatherings planned to watch this debate.

Tuesday is a big night in politics. The Seattle Times and KING TV are hosting a gubernatorial debate from 8 to 9 p.m. the same night.  Our request is for presidential debate viewing events. Please send us an email and we might cover a few of these events.
