Pop quiz: Seattle’s mayoral race

Mayoral candidates gathered at the Seattle Public Library Monday night to field questions with a literary bent. At the event sponsored by Friends of the Seattle Public Library, the candidates also read from a book that shaped their view of the world.

Here’s a pop quiz about candidates Joey Gray, Bruce Harrell, Kate Martin, Mary Martin, Mike McGinn, Ed Murray, Charlie Staadecker and Peter Steinbrueck.

1. Match the candidate with the book they read from (or in one case, essay):
