Results from Seattle mayor’s housing affordability panel

Updating the Seattle City Council’s housing committee Thursday on the progress of Seattle Mayor Ed Murray’s Housing Affordability and Livability Advisory Committee, city officials presented feedback from three community meetings and early results from an online public survey.

The public meetings were held last November and December.

THEMES

There were 2,466 responses to the online survey, which was live last December and in January. A more detailed report on the survey is forthcoming.

The mayor’s panel is scheduled to complete its work by May 30.
