In honor of Bloomsday

This one’s for all the English-lit majors out there (among which I proudly count myself): In honor of Bloomsday, the day Leopold Bloom walked all over Dublin in James Joyce’s landmark novel “Ulysses,” here’s a little bit of Bloomsday in the movies. Sean Walsh’s “Bloom,” which played at SIFF five years ago, is a thoughtful, creative adaptation of perhaps the least adaptable of books (unless you count “Finnegans Wake,” which I never could get through). Happy day, Poldy.
