Summer movie rewind: “Grease”

There was a time long ago, dear readers, in June 1978 to be exact, when “Grease” was the greatest summer movie ever, and an irresistibly catchy song called “Summer Lovin'” was stuck in the head of every kid. (I still remember every word, and I was, oh, a mere embryo at the time.) John Travolta was never cuter, Olivia Newton-John was never sweeter, and the words “wella, wella, wella, UMPH” were never so fraught with meaning. On this hellishly hot day, this clip made me happy; maybe it’ll do the same for you.
