There’s something about that bouncy bossa nova music in the “Austin Powers” movies that just screams summer. While I wasn’t sorry to see this franchise come to an end with “Goldmember,” one of the big hits of summer 2002, I did adore its opening sequence; easily the funniest in the series, and crammed full of cameos (Tom Cruise, Gwyneth Paltrow, Kevin Spacey, an exploding Britney Spears . . . ) and movie references (love the sudden “West Side Story” moment). Here it is, in all its glory. Have a shagadelic weekend, all.
