It’s a wonderful night for Oscar . . .

On Sunday night, anyway. (Do you miss Billy Crystal? I do, kind of. Somehow I don’t think Alec Baldwin will sing, but you never know.) Today, if you’re not busy at lunchtime, do join my live chat at noon; we’ll talk all things Oscar, including one final revisit of all our favorite snubs. (Why am I the only person worked up over “Bright Star”?) Follow this link for the chat, at noon sharp.
And do come back Sunday, where I and a few colleagues will be hosting a red-carpet chat starting at 4:30, and I’ll be live-blogging the ceremony starting at 5:30, right here at Popcorn & Prejudice. To keep you occupied for a few minutes in the meantime, here’s a funny clip (from “The Naked Gun: 33 1/3”) in which the Oscar ceremony goes terribly, terribly wrong . . .
