15 years of “Toy Story”

“Toy Story 3” turns up in theaters today, and it’s hard to believe that it’s 15 years since the first one — the first feature film from Pixar Animation Studios — arrived on screen. (In a nice detail, John Morris has voiced the character of Andy in all three movies — first as a little boy, now as an grown man and successful actor.) I imagine there’ll be a lot of 20somethings in the multiplexes this weekend, revisiting a franchise that’s part of their childhoods. I was already a grownup when “Toy Story” came out, but the beauty of these movies is that everybody, watching Woody and Buzz and the gang, feels like a kid again. As we wait for the new movie this weekend, here’s some fun from “Toy Story 2.”
