“Ebert Presents At the Movies” comes to Seattle

A couple of weeks ago, we were all talking about local public television station KCTS’s inexplicable decision to not run Roger Ebert’s new show , which made Seattle pretty much the only major movie market in the country where we couldn’t watch it. I heard that a number of you wrote to KCTS in protest — which, alas, didn’t appear to have changed anybody’s mind over there. But another local public station, KBTC, has jumped into the fray. On Friday, Ebert tweeted the following:

Bingo! “Ebert Presents” has been picked up by KBTC / KTCI in Seattle/Tacoma, starting in March.

Can’t see any notice of this on KBTC’s site yet, but will keep you posted when an exact date is announced. Good news!
