The Hepburns at Cinerama

in case you hadn’t heard, or in case you’re dragging your feet: Cinerama this week is taking a break from blockbusters to present three classics, each starring a Hepburn: “The African Queen,” “Breakfast at Tiffany’s,” and “Roman Holiday.” They’re screening in a newly restored digital format, and I’m hearing from readers that they look terrific. (One reader wrote that the movies looked so sharp and pristine, “it gives me great hope for film restoration and the technical advantages of digital projection.”) Each screens daily, just through Thursday; hurry on down. I’m going to try to go tomorrow.

Audrey Hepburn and Gregory Peck, on a “Roman Holiday.”
