A word on “The Killing” — and a great newspaper headline

I’ve gotten unexpectedly hooked on AMC’s “The Killing” (but don’t tell me anything about Sunday’s episode because I haven’t watched it yet); which reminds me of a contemporary Seattle version of one of the “Red Riding” crime dramas. It is, of course, not actually filmed in Seattle, though sprinkled with moody shots of the Space Needle and the Ballard Locks, but I’m trying not to hold that against it. Anyone else enjoying this show? Here’s a fun detail: In a newspaper seen on the show the other day (and no, I haven’t seen the episode, but found this on New York Magazine’s Vulture blog), the headline we’re supposed to look at involves the slick city councilman being questioned by police (there’s more going on with that guy than meets the eye, right?), but there’s another headline, just below. Click to read, and then tell me if that’s a cafe you’d rush to visit. I know I would.
