So, after a lot of kerfuffle earlier this week over a mysterious red-band trailer that may or may not have been leaked by the “Girl with the Dragon Tattoo” studio, the official teaser trailer is out. (It’s not that different from the red-band one — which I watched once before it got pulled — except that it doesn’t have the perhaps intentional hand-held shakiness at the beginning, and I think there’s one quick cut of partial nudity that’s been edited out.) Anyway, this is making me want to see this movie, very soon. I was a fan of the Swedish film version of the novel (released in U.S. theaters last year, to a disappointingly tiny audience), but I’m also a big fan of David Fincher, who’s on a pretty amazing creative streak: “Zodiac,” “The Curious Case of Benjamin Button,” “The Social Network.” “The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo,” starring Rooney Mara and Daniel Craig, arrives in time to be “the feel-bad movie of Christmas” — December 21. Looking forward to it?
