For the weekend: “Mad Men” update, and a few words from Roger Sterling

For those suffering from “Mad Men” withdrawal (last year at this time, Mad Men Mondays were well underway!), here’s a tidbit of news: Deadline.com reports that Matthew Weiner and the writers are at work on the Season 5 scripts, and production will begin August 8. Jon Hamm will make his directing debut with the first episode — about which we know, well, nothing. The AMC website still says “Coming 2012” about Season 5; presumably it’ll be early in the year. Please.
To help tide us over during these “Mad Men”-less days, here’s a montage of scenes featuring the series’ most quotable character, Roger Sterling. Happy weekend, all.
