Today’s hero in the cellphone wars: Kevin Spacey

As cellphone-related madness swirls around us, with theaters vowing to encourage distraction by establishing special tweeting zones (thanks to reader Mike Fisher, who sent me the link), we can find a ray of hope in the unlikely face of Kevin Spacey. The actor, currently starring in a production of “Richard III” in Sydney, Australia, earlier this week encountered a ringing cellphone during his performance. According to The Telegraph, he turned to the offending audience member and shouted, “Tell them we’re busy!” Well played, Mr. Spacey. (And yes, he tweets. But, presumably, not in theaters.)
