Second chances for SIFF movies?

The cinematic behemoth that is the Seattle International Film Festival opens its box offices today, with individual tickets now available to, at last count, 273 feature-length films. Every year, readers ask me for a list of movies in SIFF that are scheduled to open for a regular run post-festival, to help narrow down choices, so here you go. I’m not saying necessarily that you shouldn’t see these films at the festival — some of them may well have directors, actors, or other guests attending, and that can be a great experience to hear them speak at the screening — but that if you have limited time for the fest, these are movies that you’ll get another chance to see before long.
Here’s what I have so far, in chronological order; no doubt the list will grow as I learn more about what’s opening later in the year:
Moonrise Kingdom (opening June 8)
Safety Not Guaranteed (June 8)
Marina Abramovic: The Artist Is Present (June 15)
Your Sister’s Sister (June 15)
Lola Versus (June 15)
Brave (June 22)
True Wolf (June 22)
I Wish (June 22)
Polisse (June 29)
People Like Us (June 29)
God Bless America (June 29)
The Intouchables (June tbd)
Take This Waltz (July 6)
Elena (July 13)
Beasts of the Southern Wild (July 13)
Trishna (July 20)
Grassroots (July 20)
Ai Weiwei: Never Sorry (Aug. 3)
Compliance (Aug. 24)
