Halfway through 2012: Your favorites?

We’re now halfway through the year, and as usual most of the big-buzz movies have yet to arrive. But I always think it’s interesting to examine what the first half of the year looks like, and later to compare it to the second half. If I had to give my yearend awards this week, here’s what they would look like; considering only movies that opened theatrically in the Seattle area through January through June of this year:
Top 10 (in alphabetical order)
The Avengers
Bernie
Brave
The Deep Blue Sea
Friends with Kids
The Hunger Games
I Wish
Margaret
Moonrise Kingdom
Pina
Best actor: (tie) Jack Black, “Bernie”; Woody Harrelson, “Rampart”
Best actress: (tie) Rachel Weisz, “Deep Blue Sea”; Anna Paquin, “Margaret”
Best supporting actor: Ezra Miller, “We Need To Talk About Kevin”
Best supporting actress: Susan Sarandon, “Jeff, Who Lives At Home”
And what are your favorites, so far?
