Want to be an extra in a movie?

The movie “One Square Mile,” starring Kim Basinger, Richard Jenkins, and former local Cam Gigandet, is filming in Seattle this month, and its producers are looking for extras for a crowd scene to be shot on Sunday. To sign up, go to this rather excessively enthusiastic website (it’s for the company that arranges for extras; not the movie’s actual production company) and give them your email address; they’ll respond with instructions on what to wear, where to go, and when to show up. Extras must be aged 14 or older, and you will not be paid (though they do promise free parking and snacks); hours are posted as 9:30 to 5. If anyone does this, let me (and the rest of us) know; I’d be curious to hear about the experience.
